My name is Tania Whiley, a local to Townsville. Passion for Hair and Beauty started as an 8 year old girl teaching myself to braid, giving Barbie dolls fashionable 80's punk haircuts and shaping friends eyebrows with a pair of tweezers at Highschool.

Commencing my apprenticeship at Teakle Art & Hair Studio with Don Teakle after finishing up at Pimlico State High, I perfected fast but accurate cutting skills at Barber Girls, then opened my first salon, "Tania's Place" in 2005.

Relocating to 37 Hammett Street, Currajong in 2011 as Haircuts on Hammett, I added to my skill set and trained with Rebekah Rai and Cecilia Cole in Cosmetic Tattooing. Not only offering all Hair services, but also Semi Permanent Make up/ Cosmetic Tattooing which lead me to rebrand as HAIR AND COSMETIC HUB.
